Clemson scholarship list: Full list of scholarship players, positions

Clemson will offer a full scholarship list of the 2017 class of quarterback and linebacker scholarships, and full-time student-athletes will receive full scholarship offers from both schools, the school announced Tuesday.

The Clemson Football program will announce a full list of scholarships in the coming weeks.

The program announced the news Tuesday on its official Twitter account.

Clemson’s commitment to recruiting a wide array of talented football players is a hallmark of the program and the Clemson Football family, Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney said in a statement.

Our football team is a special place.

Our players are the future of our program.

I am grateful for the support of our coaching staff, the staff of our players and the fans for this opportunity to build a championship football program.

The 2017 class features nine players who are from the state of South Carolina and two players from Georgia.

Clemson has yet to announce the full list, but it will be announced shortly.

Clemson also announced it will honor the lives of six current players who died during the 2017 season.

The six players who perished in 2016 were: freshman defensive end Kaleil Williams, sophomore quarterback Tre’Juan Harris, sophomore defensive end Josh Jones, senior linebacker Alex Collins and senior safety Tyrell Harris.

Clevelands commitment to the ACC was not immediately clear.
