The scholarships are capped at $4,000.
The maximum scholarship for students of Color is $5,000, which is $15,000 more than what most students would be able to get for free.
To qualify for the scholarship, students must attend a high school in the state of Alabama.
There are a total of 5,800 scholarships in existence in the country.
